A mantra & exhibition series inspired by the basketball position I played during my adolescence.
The power forward is a position in basketball that has greatly shifted in skillset over the years. Forced to adapt to the needs of the current era of the game for survival. The position has generally been overlooked due to not being traditionally flashy & doing more of the little things that may not show up in the highlights or box score.
I believe this position reflects the qualities you need to have in order to be successful in life. like the game of basketball, life changes the way to play over time. requiring us all to adapt to the current environment in order to succeed. Playing the game of life requires less of the highlight plays, and more of the minuscule and gritty acts at a high and consistent level.
Through life's adversity, we must seek to Power Forward every day.
